The Bartlett Ave. residence is a direct confrontation with the challenge of re-designing a space that has forgotten how to welcome. Orchestrated during the global lockdown, the renovation of this 4,306 sq. ft. townhouse transformed a dark and compartmentalized dwelling into an environment defined by clarity.
The project was managed entirely from a distance of over 4,400 miles, requiring rare transatlantic precision to translate design decisions into physical reality. It was a work of endurance where, amidst the disorder of the time, light was taught to find its passage into spaces that had long been shut. The result is an architecture that repairs, proving that even a forced distance can produce a work of absolute calm and intent.
